Taylor Swift Reveals Her Favourite Part Of Making ‘1989’
The “Out of the Woods” singer talked about her new album, 1989, and revealed her favourite part of the album. “The ’1989′ Secret Sessions were my favourite part of this whole thing of putting out ’1989′ because these were people who had never met me before, and they had been to shows or they waited outside ‘Good Morning America’ or they have an amazing blog dedicated to my music, and I never got to say thank you until we did these secret listening sessions in my houses all across the country and London.”
Oops! Turns Out “Steal My Girl” Didn’t Break The Vevo Record
Harry Styles tweeted that the video had broken the record for the most views in 24 hours. But now, it turns out it hasn’t. Harry posted: “Knock knock.. Who’s there? ‘A vevo record’ a vevo record who? Only joking. Whoops.” He added: “Just found out we didn’t beat the Vevo record. But thank you guys for all your effort, the views were amazing! You’re legends .x” It sounds like the problem may have been an issue with VEVO, because they tweeted: “Thanks for bearing with us, 1D fans. We love how passionate this fandom is! As Harry said, #StealMyGirlOnVevo did not break the 24hr record.” Oops!
Selena & Kendall – Friends Again
Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner seem to have made up. This weekend, Selena was at Kendall’s birthday party, along with Cara Delevingne. Cara posted a video of her and Selena singing happy birthday to Kendall. Sel and Kendall were close in the spring, when they were spotted at Coachella along with Kylie Jenner. But then rumours of a fling between Justin and Kylie and Kendall started going around, and Selena deleted the Jenners on Instagram. Now things seem to be back to OK between the girls.
Rita Ora’s Embarrassing Twitter Moment
Sometimes, artists promise their fans to release new music if a certain message gets re-tweeted thousands of times. Rita Ora is the latest singer to attempt it, but it didn’t go exactly as planned. She’s been trying to break into the U.S. music scene for a while with limited success. She posted, “Dropping my new song Monday if this gets 100,000 retweets.” Unfortunately for Rita, only about 2,000 fans retweeted the message. She retweeted a fan who wrote, “where her 3.9m followers at when you need them smh.” Those two tweets disappeared from Rita’s account. Afterwards, the singer claimed that she was hacked: “By the way my Twitter got hacked somebody is threatening to release new music I’ve worked really hard on. Nothing comes out until I’m ready, when it’s ready we will drop music! Luckily I caught the hacker really quickly and deleted the post. Thank you!” People didn’t believe her, and started making jokes about her. Poor Rita!
