Little Mix-Glory Days

Of course I had to start this with Little Mix who is my favorite girl band of this generation. Glory Days is the fourth studio album by Little Mix. The album was preceded by the UK number one single “Shout Out To My Ex” which later won best single at 2017 BRIT Awards. CrypticRock gave this album 5 out of 5. This album also comes in Deluxe and Japanese Edition. All in all, Little Mix Glory Days is a witty and sophisticated follow-up to 2015 Get Weird album. Incorporating new styles and elements while still delivering the same girl-power message.

Favorite song:

“Shout Out To My Ex” and “Power”

Taylor Swift-1989

Taylor Swift is one of my favorite female artists in Pop. 1989 is the fifth studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift released on October 27, 2014, 1989 sold 1.287 million copies in the US during its first week and debuted at number one on Billboard 200. It became the best-selling album of 2014 in the country with total sales of 6 million as of January 2017. Swift first announced the album on August 18, 2014. She described it as her “first documented, official pop album”, stating that she was inspired by late 1980s pop during the recording period. Taylor Swift even won two Grammy Awards for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.

Favorite song:

“Bad Blood” and “Wildest Dreams”

25 is the third studio album by British singer and songwriter Adele. It was released on 20 November 2015. Titled as a reflection of her life and frame of mind at 25 years old. In October 2015, numerous journalists speculated that other musicians had pushed back their albums in order to avoid chart competition with Adele; artists such as Justin Bieber, Sam Smith and One Direction all did this so that their sales would not be affected.

Beyonce or should I call her “Queen B” is known for one of the best and strongest voices in pop. Lemonade is the sixth studio album by Beyoncé. The album was accompanied by the release of a 60-minute film of the same name. American rapper Snoop Dogg named his Cool aid album after Beyoncé’s Lemonade. Beyoncé even won a Grammy Award for best urban contemporary album.
