Weddings, dinners, or a movie with a friend, are occasions that require makeup because after all, everyone wants to look the best. The key is to use the right thing in accordance with the event. For instance, applying a dark lipstick and pairing it with a glittery eye shade and fluorescent nails, is obviously an incorrect choice for a day out with friends. To rectify these small makeup mistakes and in order to get rid of the imprecisions, the following beauty guide will help you groom:
Let’s face it; this happens to every tube of mascara over time. The problem is it dries out and then starts to form unattractive lumps. To help prevent this, don’t pump your mascara trying to get more on your wand; you’re basically pumping air into the tube causing it to dry out even faster.
Although mascara should be replaced every 3 to 4 months, I used to replace mine much sooner just because it dries out so fast and creates undesirable results. But, there’s an easy fix for that! Add a drop or two of eye drops, into the tube, and then rub the wand around inside. This softens the mascara liquid, making it apply as if it were a brand new tube!
Before you begin applying your eye shadow, just place a business card near your lower lash line. This will help your eye shade to not go out of bound and give your eyes that beautiful sharp look.
Firstly, apply your favorite lip balm or petroleum jelly. Then use a toothbrush to gently exfoliate your lips. You can also make a homemade lip exfoliate with sugar and coconut oil. Exfoliating your lips before applying any lip products will help make them plump, smooth and lipstick ready.
Sweep a light pink or white matte pencil across the entire length of your brow bone to create the illusion of a higher arch, and then blend, blend, blend! It should not be detectable.
This is one makeup tip that I absolutely adore. Make your lips appear larger by lining your lips just outside your natural lip line, if you are using lipstick, use a lip brush for extra precision. Enjoy your luscious lips but don’t take it too far, you might end up looking like a clown!
After your lipstick is applied, take a tissue and remove a ply. Now hold the ply over your lips and apply translucent powder over the tissue. This will give your lipstick that matte look that will last forever.
